One of the primary issues in agricultural lands in Iran is soil salinity. One of the most important factors influencing this issue include the amount and salinity of irrigation water, the amount and method of irrigation, and farm management practices. Checking salinity deep in the soil and in different parts of the farm is of considerable importance. This study was conducted in Ardabil County to investigate the salinity distribution pattern in drip irrigation under humidity limits deficit irrigation conditions for pinto beans (Sadri variety), using a completely randomized block design (CRD) with three replications. The irrigation treatments included water amounts applied at three levels: 100%, 85%, and 70% of the crop water requirement (denoted as I1, I2, and I3, respectively). The salinity distribution of the soil was examined at various depths (three depths) and distances from the dripper (three distances) across the three irrigation levels, with three replications, and four soil sampling sessions throughout the growing season. The results showed that the effect of different irrigation levels on the 1000 seeds weight, grain yield, and plant biomass was significant at the 5% and 1% levels, respectively. Specifically, with increased water application from I3 to I1, biomass and plant seed increased by 51.2% and 46.8%, respectively. Additionally, the study revealed that the salinity of the soil's saturated extract decreased in most irrigation treatments at a depth of 0-20 cm, with reductions of up to 50%. Moreover, soil salinity decreased throughout the growing season, while increasing with distance from the dripper axis.
